Manchester zoning dispute centers on Route 7 plan and McDonald's

Planning Commission Chairman Eugene Lattuga says the Route 7 zoning widening is for town benefit, not to aid McDonald's. He notes McDonald's has no special advantage, and the change would rezone land behind the current 200 foot commercial strip. Residents fear residential areas lose ground as commercial zones expand, with next steps including a commission review and a hearing by selectmen.
