Cummings Pelsue Shea Elected In Light Village School Vote
About 400 voters attended the Berming ton Graded School District meeting electing Marian Cummings to the Mt Anthony Union High School Board and Ivor Pelsue plus Dr James Shea to the village district trustees. Cummings won 230 to 171 over Lee Shoemaker for a one year term. Pelsue led with 287 votes, Shea 217, Bergquist 168, Fleming 68 for three year terms. Other officers saw no opposition aside from one write in. Franklin A Riley was reelected chairman. Paul Kirsch presented the new Bennington High principal, Ralph S Kates.

Final Orders To Clean Battenkill River
