Not Like Weston 1840 Dorset Emporium Hasn't Changed a Bit
The H N Williams Department Store in Dorset, run by Mr and Mrs Austin Rumney since 1840, remains a living museum of items from harnesses to wagons and antiques. The rambling one story red building preserves a sense of history with a stove, old sign, and a steady flow of era items, while Mrs Ada Romney balances store duties with civic work and family.
