Bell Company proposes lower rates for after nine calls
The Bell telephone companies seek a maximum $1 rate for station-to-station interstate calls from 9 p.m. to 4 30 a.m. with 25 cents per extra minute, plus 5 to 10 cent increases on shorter person to person long distance calls. FCC notes these schedules will cut company revenues by about $30 million yearly and aim to reflect new plant improvements.
