Attorney John H. Williams of 155 Main Street was chosen Bennington’s Outstanding Young Man of 1962 at the Junior Chamber of Commerce Awards Night Banquet at the Mt. Anthony Club. Dr. Arthur S. Faris accepted the Outstanding Organization award for the Bennington Southwest District School Planning Committee. Donald C. Hicks, executive director of the Greater Bennington Association, judged the contest and praised Williams for his service to Bennington, including work on the Union School Board and local government reforms. Union Plans Another Appeal On Rutland RR
A spokesman for striking Rutland Railway workers said another appeal to the Interstate Commerce Commission is likely before midnight tomorrow.
