Moon rocks shed light on Earth's early history
CAPE KENNEDY UPI Studies of Apollo lunar samples confirm the moon preserves an ancient record of the solar system. Geologists say lunar rocks reveal what to look for in Earth rocks and may date back 4.5 to 4.6 billion years. Apollo 14 aims to sample ancient highland material blasted from the highlands by a meteoroid impact.
