County 4-H calendar encourages fair season prep
Vermont National and Savings Bank sponsors the Bennington County 4-H calendar program with small member calendars distributed to all county 4-H homes. The calendar shows a Midwestern 4-H family journey to the county fair and the challenge of transporting livestock and equipment. White Creek 4-H Club splits membership to about 20, led by Alfred Armstrong and Don Laurie with dairy, garden, and conservation projects. An Automotive Club meeting in Manchester drew only one leader and one potential member amid interest in highway safety and car care. I will aid organization if needed and will attend UVM Friday for the State H recognition Committee and represent Bennington County Monday and Tuesday as program coordinator. All County 4-H'ers 14+ will get a survey about an exchange tour with Orleans County as a likely partner.
