Sixteen people, including twelve young children, were left homeless. owner was Mrs. Henry LaFlamme. Flames began near a chimney around 3 p.m. and spread quickly, with firefighters reporting a fan explosion. Tenants' possessions could not be saved. Left homeless were Leon Cross Jr and wife Cynthia and their six children.
