A rise in construction costs cited by architects will boost by ninety thousand dollars the February bond issue for a proposed Bennington elementary school. The basic cost rises to about 1.13 million with state aid, requiring an 835,847 bonding proposal.
John H. Williams II announces he will not seek re election as Bennington Village Corporation Attorney. He cites limits on private practice from prosecutorial duties and urges others to run. Williams will continue work on the Bolles Brook Bickford Hollow Water Project and thanks trustees for four years of service.
