Van Santvoord to discuss Jeffersonian Democrat views Sunday
George Van Santvoord, longtime Bennington legislator and educator, will speak at the Gov McColough Mansion in North Bennington on Sunday January 7 at 4 pm. He will trace the Jeffersonian roots of the Democratic Party, outline state legislative issues, and discuss Vermont constitutional amendments for the 1973 session. The talk titled Why I Am A Jeffersonian Democrat will cover broader topics and invite audience questions with no admission fee.

University study to map changes in student affairs leadership

College summer science program to be repeated under NSF grant
Dr Reinhard I. van der Linde of Bennington College has announced that the college has again received a National Science Foundation Grant of $22,270 to repeat the summer science program for 36 high school students. He and three other Rennington professors will guide students through a round robin of mathematics biology physics and chemistry. Aubersold is joining the program.
