Sunderland school costs exceed budget seek bond approval
Sunderland architect Julian Goodrich told voters that the Sunderland Elementary School project would cost over 366000 after an original 293000 budget and urged approval of about 34000 in short term borrowing to finish the building. He cited bids, subcontractor issues, and delays as the main causes while noting taxes would rise to fund the loan and the town could pursue remedies against Speed Space Inc.
