Opulence and empty bindings fill Rybar’s New York library
New York interior designer shows off Valerian Stax Rybar’s 1300 leather bound volumes with gold imprints, stacked floor to ceiling. Guests notice the spectacle and some pull at risqué titles, but the bindings are hollow, the books decorative, not literature. Rybar dislikes real books alike a birch grove ruse in Paris.
