Putney's Bob Gray Wins X C Race Again
Putney's Bob Gray won the seventh annual Washington's Birthday Cross Country Ski Touring Race in Marlboro. He finished the six mile course in 40 34 minutes, four minutes ahead of Raimo Ahti and marked his fourth win. The event drew 365 registrants, with notable participants including Sen. Edward Jarvis Janeway and a three generation Putney Gray contingent. William Koch, 13, placed fourth and was lauded by Gray as in top condition for his age.
