MONTPELIER UP I A divided Ways and Means Committee will allow the House to determine the state's share of the betting take for Sunday racing at Green Mountain Race track at Pownal. The panel favors Sunday racing but remains split on a 5.5 or 6.5 percent state take. The committee plans a 6.5 percent Sunday take, despite track warnings they would not race at that rate. Rep Clarence LeClair said the track may drop Sunday plans. Rep Harvey Carter noted harness racing draws less than thoroughbred.
