Two boys drown after ice gives way in Hoosick River
In Hoosick Falls New York 5 year old Timothy and 10 year old John Leibach fell through ice under the River Street bridge while playing with one brother dragged under by the current and the second missing after a long river search. Rescue teams from multiple units scoured the Hoosick River through the night near the River Street and Church Street bridges. a younger boy was recovered and pronounced dead at Samaritan Hospital while the older boy remained missing.
