Tokyo Plans A Monorail System Soon
Tokyo moves to build a full monorail network to ease congestion. An eight mile line between downtown Tokyo and Tokyo International Airport is under construction and due before 1964. Eleven more lines are planned by 1966 including a Ginza adjacent route. Fare for airport service set around 1.75 dollars.
