Noise in plant raises grievances despite output
Rutherford New Jersey UPI reports graduate student Joseph Sroka Jr. found three manual work areas in a large electrical manufacturer with noise from 86 to 108 decibels. The noisiest area had more grievances and longer settlement times, yet incentive pay matched quieter areas. Grievances may come from shouting and built frustration prompting reports against the company.
