Winter Work Proceeds At Woodford Campsite
A 240 acre public camping area near Adams Reservoir Burrington Pond southwest of Vermont is under construction. Ellwood Austin of Reading leads a five man crew building an access road side roads and 40 campsites with a central toilet and shower facility planned for the 1964 season. The pond is being drained to remove dead timber from the water edge dating to a 15 year old dam project by Burrington.
