Burlington upi former St Albans undercover narcotics agent Paul D Lawrence was convicted Wednesday on perjury and false information charges. A eight by four jury deliberated two and a half hours after he swore he bought heroin in Burlington last July from Brooklyn undercover agent Michael Schwartz known as the rabbi. Bail of 10000 was continued pending pre sentence investigation. He faces up to 15 years on perjury and one year on the other count.
