Cardinals Parade Through February Bird Survey
The Simsons, Massachusetts Audubon Society and South Shore Bird Club members, report a rise in Feb survey participation and share their experience with cardinals. They have observed a pair raise two broods in two summers, with parents frequenting their yard to brighten days. The birds perch on a suet stick mix of suet, peanut butter, cornmeal and raisins and favor berries and sunflower seeds. They hope to interest others in enjoying the birds.
