Village Gallery hosts four local artists in Manchester
Vermont Art Center opens a winter gallery in Manchester Village called the Village Gallery. Lea Ehrich and George Hughes show one man exhibits, Elsa Bley and James Montague open for two weeks. Critics praise Ehrich’s Last Light as a standout, admire Hughes for silent, reflective landscapes, fault Bley’s oils vs watercolors, and note Montague’s eight blue canvases with mixed success while highlighting Sanary, the Boats and Sanary, the Harbour as best.
