Five 270 ton gunboats escaped France amid an arms embargo and arrived safely in Kishon Harbor Haifa. Israeli escorts and Netivel linked vessels planned a news conference to stress peaceful uses while crowds gathered along the Haifa waterfront awaiting the dramatic arrival.
