Kinsey Sequel Data Shows Little Change in Youth Sex
New York UP I report quotes Dr. Paul Gebhard, Kinsey collaborator, revealing early findings from a 1967 study of 1,200 current college students. He notes that first sex typically occurs in late high school or early college, with love linked to sex for women and more emotional male involvement. The trend toward same age partners emerges, replacing the older male younger female pattern, while sex is described as more enjoyable and less traumatic. The full conclusions await final computer tabulation and are due next fall.
