New Brunswick Opposes Eastport Oil Refinery

New Brunswick formally opposes Pittston Co. plans for a 350 million coastal oil refinery near Eastport. Assistant deputy minister Brian Barnes warned spills threaten major fisheries, tourism, and air pollution could sweep over Campello and Deer Islands. Pre printed auto plate forms mailed in Vermont

Vermont Motor Vehicle Commissioner James E. Malloy says over 120000 pre printed auto renewal registration forms have been mailed with another 100000 to follow this week. Registrants should review the computer produced form and return with the fee if correct. corrections can be made on the form. First time registrations available at state and local offices. All holders of 1973 plates should receive the pre printed forms. The 74 validation stickers will be applied over 73 stickers and must be attached by January 1, 1974 and affixed by March 1, 1974.
