Stretch Pants Outsell Non stretch in Ski Gear Market

Skiing gear spending tops 56 million in last season
Ski Industries America reports skiers spent over 56 million on clothing and equipment last season, up nearly one third from the prior year. The study by Dr Kenneth R Davis finds average outfits cost about 83 for basic gear and under 38 for pants and parka with sweaters matching pants costs. Women buy more clothing while men spend more on equipment, with 61.8 percent of stretch pants women models and 58.8 percent of ski boots men.
