Bennington Project Threatens Woodford Water Supply
Six Woodford homeowners face losing their drinking water when Bennington builds a filtration plant below the current chlorinator on Harbour Road. The plant will render the pipe water undrinkable, as the Health Department requires treated water. The Bennington Water Board says no promise to supply woodford residents exists. homeowners must install in situ filtration or switch sources. Woodford hires attorney Thomas H. Jacobs to review the easement and dispute.
