In Pownal Vermont Roger Boudreau lives on Middle Pownal Road near Jewett Brook and South Stream. He farms 20 acres known as the old Heap place with two gravel pits, horses, and six dogs led by a German shepherd and Saint Bernard. He weighs 105 pounds and is described as master of five pounds of hound for every pound of himself as the scene spans the Dome peaks and surrounding barns and trailers.

Crash kills Arlington man in Pownal
A West Arlington man, Richard LeRoy Whitman aged 50, died Tuesday night when his 1976 Dodge sedan left Route 7, struck a culvert, and burst into flames near the Ladd Brook area. Police investigated the crash, reporting it occurred about 8:30 p.m. with Whitman dead at the scene and the death contributing to Bennington County’s yearly road toll.
