Kennebunkport group sends 300th tribute medallion to Nixon
Edward Mayo of the Kennebunkport Dump Association says 500 bronze medallions marking the tricentennial of the local dump were minted. The gold plated medallion for presentation to President Nixon features the KLA symbol a flower from a tin can and reads 300th anniversary of America's number one dump. Mayo hopes Nixon enjoys the gesture and jokes about needing a laugh.
