Shell station reopens without permit on Route 7
At the selectmen meeting, zoning administrator Wesley Bump said the Shell Station on Route 7 has reopened and is operating without a permit after being closed for more than a year. He is still trying to determine the owner while noting an owner’s lack of licensing for multiple dogs at a residence on Twitchell Hill.

Dorset Hills Park Faces Major Subdivision Ruling
Dorset Hills Park may shrink to meet town zoning as lawyers challenge its classification from mobile home to major subdivision. If Dorset ZBA upholds the ruling and Richard Hayes proceeds with a 40 site plan, a new site plan must be filed. Engineers say building 40 trailers on 125 acres is impractical, suggesting the project may not advance.
