Viking Spirit Prevails In Arlington Craftsman
Ben Oakland of Arlington is a multi skilled craftsman and hunter who built a 12 foot undershot water wheel for irrigation, repaired guns, painted Vermont scenes, and crafted maple furniture. He migrates from Denmark, worked on J P Morgan’s yacht, and now shares a self reliant life with his wife Martha and son Martin near Vermont 313, embracing nature and American citizenship. The family has a flag mounted mast, a boatload of hobbies, and a tote goat vehicle to haul game from hunts.
