Zen Play to be performed at Hoosac School in December
The National Theatre Institute's 11th Bus Company production Zen Play will tour to Hoosac School Hoosick NY on Friday December 12. The event includes a 7 30 pm workshop with audience participation and a 9 pm performance in the Dining Hall. Both parts are free and open to the public. The piece draws on Paul Reps Zen poetry and plays and features gymnastics improvisation music and dance.

The Burr and Burton Seminary Band and Chorus present Menotti opera Amahl on Friday December 19 at 8 pm in the BBS Gym. Members of the Norshaft Lions Club will convene for 8 a.m. breakfast Saturday at the Knotty Pine in Bennington then head out to chop spruce and pine for the Christmas Tree Sale, which will begin in the Knotty Pine parking lot upon return. The Hoosick Falls Aerie of Eagles and Eagles Auxiliary hosted a dinner dance for the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad, where a $290 donation was presented to Dennis Bornt by Auxiliary president Janet Reilly.
