Woodford man dies in Route 67A crash near Economy plant
Joseph Smith a 25 year old from Woodford died after sustaining injuries Friday night in a Route 67A accident near the Economy Graphics plant. He died Saturday at Albany Medical Center after transfer from Putnam Memorial Hospital. Mark Burgess 23 from Bennington was listed in satisfactory condition at Putnam Memorial Hospital for head injuries. Passengers Ralph Quackenbush 23 Bennington Lutz Spika 17 Woodford Wolfram Spika 43 Woodford were treated and released at the local hospital. Police reported the crash occurred Friday at 9 40.
