More than half of 96 destitute Negro reverse riders sent to Cape Cod in seven months have moved to the Boston area. Forty-two adults and 54 children began in Hyannis, with some later settling in Boston, Newburyport, and the Berkshire Hills. A Boston minister and the Cape Cod Relief Committee assisted, with about 11 children remaining in Hyannis and others moving to New Hampshire.
