White Creek Fiddler To Play In Albany Folk Music Concert
Pete Seeger invites Joe Robertson to guest in Albany on December 9 to aid the Hudson River Sloop Restoration fundraiser. Robertson, a 36 year old self taught violinist from White Creek, plays with two string chords at once and has long led local square dances with siblings Dorothy Ann and Eleanor. The concert at Philip Livingston Junior High School benefits a river restoration project aiming to revive a sailing vessel from 1800 to 1850 to showcase a clean Hudson River and inspire public effort.
