Luna II In Orbit Reaches Moon As Tass notes data link

In Wauwatosa near Milwaukee 400 National Guard troops with fixed bayonets protected 5,000 demonstrators and onlookers during a tense night over demands that Circuit Judge Robert C. Cannon quit the all white Eagles Club. Police and guards escorted about 200 protesters to Cannon’s home, injuries from firecrackers and eggs were reported, five arrests made, and Cannon remained steadfast. Father James Groppi warned of continued nightly protests, calling the city deeply divided by hatred and bigotry.
