Old Village completes sewer line revisions in Bennington
The Old Village Trustees report the sanitary sewer line replacement near West Road and Monument Avenue is finished. About 800 feet of 8 inch Transite main were laid, old line sections reconnected, and new man holes added to reduce surface water intake as the village eyes a future town takeover. One old cast iron 100 foot section remains in use after partial replacement.
