Divoll declines endorsements in attorney general bid

Natt Divoll of Bellows Falls says he seeks no endorsements for the Republican nomination and names Nat Divoll Jr as campaign manager while Vreeland Call is treasurer. Kimberly Cheney’s endorsement by Peter Giuliani drew little weight as Divoll avoids outside support amid a Vermont primary contest pitting James Jeffords against Luther Hackett. Jeffords criticizes Burlington Free Press coverage promising no great bearing on votes and notes his self funding with $1 contributions as Hackett spends about twice as much.
