Dostal Lodge Permit Rejected as Easy Decision
Water Resources Commissioner Martin Johnson called the Londonderry lodge discharge permit rejection an easy decision. He testified that Dostal Lodge should not discharge treated effluent into a pristine water and could have been refused on grounds the waterway is an upland mountain brook. The hearing followed a ruling that the state bears the burden of proof in the Dustil Todge appeal under the 1870 Water Pollution Control Law.
