A seven member Legislative Council study panel in Vermont plans a strict outdoor advertising bill to be submitted in January. The proposal bans all billboards and off premises signs by January 1 1970 and would require state ownership and regulation of off premise directional signs.

Six U.S. Jets Lost In North Vietnam Raids

Saigon reports six U.S. jets were lost in raids on Hanoi and suburbs, including two Navy planes that reportedly wandered into Red China. Communist broadcasts claimed continued bombing of Hanoi as B52 strikes persist for the 13th time in 12 days, targeting North Vietnamese divisions near the South Vietnamese border.

Case Questions Johnson on Vietnam Policy Credible Assurances Sought

Romney To Speak In Vermont During 25 Dollar Dinner

Michigan Gov. George Romney will address a 25 dollar per plate dinner in Montpelier at the University of Vermont Patrick Gymnasium on Oct 28.
