Bay State sets strict rules to implement new environment law
Massachusetts officials propose emergency regulations to carry out a new environmental protection law. The rules are in effect and will be reviewed at a public hearing on August 29. A pending state Supreme Court ruling in late September may prompt revisions to the filed provisions.
