Authors To Discuss Censorship At P E N Congress
The article reports that Soviet repression and censorship of liberal writers, highlighted by Anatoly Kuznetsov, will be a major topic at the P E N congress in Menton France. Arthur Miller, P E N president, plans an extensive debate and will bring Kuznetsov’s case to about 700 authors from over 50 countries. William Styron backs the call while noting dangers for remaining dissidents in the Soviet Union.

Henriksen dismissed the case as the crown could not prove the line was obstructed.
