Geodesic domes will house 100 students at Johnson State College this fall, purchased by the Vermont State Colleges. Provo st Dr. Robert S. Babcock notes potential conversion to faculty offices or classrooms. Domes, engineered by Buckminster Fuller, are 39 foot diameter ply wood structures with strong 120 psi, set on concrete bases near the gym and library.
