Vision crucial as school opens in Vermont
Morrisville report from the Vermont Optometric Association warns uncorrected vision likely causes poor scholarship among normal intelligence pupils. With 80 percent of learning via the eyes, parents are urged to ensure adequate vision for hours of study. One in three children may need professional eye care by high school. Signs include blurred vision and letters that run together.
