Body of Missing N H Girl Found in Abandoned Car
Debra Horn, 11, missing since Jan. 29 from Allenstown N H, was found nude and decomposed in the trunk of a gray 1951 Plymouth abandoned on a logging road 20 miles southeast of Allenstown. Three Massachusetts teens discovered the car while vacationing in Sandown. Police and medical examiners noted possible head trauma but could not yet determine exact cause or time of death. Debra Horn identification was confirmed by ring and earring and dental records. The body was transported to Peabody Funeral Home in Derry after autopsy.

ST ALBANS UPI The City Council meets tonight to decide when a fourth special election for a school property tax hike should be held. A hike to 5.44 from 2.70 was urged by school authorities as state officials urged a vote to solve the city’s financial crisis. Local leaders and lawmakers say a yes vote could trigger state aid and help open schools and pay salaries for the coming year.
