Opus 40 open for benefit at Saugerties site
Opus 40 in High Woods Saugerties New York will open Sunday September 5 noon to 6 pm for the Children's Rehabilitation Center benefit with a rain date Labor Day. The free form environmental sculpture covers over 10 acres and features monoliths bluestone platforms winding corridors and pools with views of Overlook Mountain. Barbara Fite continues the annual event honoring Harvey Fite a Bard College professor emeritus. The Rustic museum of quarrying and stone tools and performances by The Springtown Chamber Winds and Millienblums will also be available. Admission 3 adults 150 children refreshments on site. Route 9-W access marked.
