The Vermont State Firefighters Association and Ladies Auxiliary held their 87th and 19th annual conferences in Brattleboro July 30 to Aug 1 with 700 delegates amid meetings, banquets, and a weather-plagued parade. The gathering re-elected leaders, reported 4,880 members, and supported training with $10,000 from fire insurers.
