Judge impounds Braniff jetliner for drug smuggling case

A federal judge ordered seizure of a $9 million Braniff jetliner used to bring three Colombian narcotics smugglers to the United States. The court ruled vehicles used in contraband can be forfeited, and the plane's operators may be held accountable though Braniff officials declined comment.

Rescue mission looms if Skylab 2 crew stranded far out
