Hartford Narrows Gap To Edge Bennington In 10-6 Playoff Win

Beloved Bennington American Legion falls to Hartford 10-6 in the Vermont State Playoffs. Millington pitched well in his first Legion outing, striking out seven over eight innings, but field errors and misplays allowed Hartford to pile up five runs. Bennington jumped to a 2-0 lead in the second as Ordway and Moore drew walks, Tomasi delivered a run-scoring single, and the squad added another in the third before Hartford answered with multiple runs and pulled ahead by the fourth.
