Refugees boost May population rise to 213 million
United States population climbed by about 208,000 in May to an estimated 213,466,000 on June 1, driven by roughly 70,000 Vietnamese refugees. The influx plus natural gains, including 108,000 more births than deaths and 101,000 net civilian immigration, pushed the year-over-year increase to about 0.8 percent. In New Hampshire, Ford reportedly cannot attend the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl high school all star game at Dartmouth on August 16.
