Bennington College Board approves tuition hike and budget cuts

College officials announce tuition increases for the 1970-71 year with freshmen paying 4625 and sophomores the same while juniors 4550 and seniors 4500. The board also cuts operating costs, reduces the Development Office, and ends the Beggington Review. Financial aid will be increased to assist those in need.

U S Will Provide Support to Saigon Forces in Cambodia

The Defense Department announced that the United States will provide advisers and other support to assist South Vietnamese military operations inside Cambodia. Assistant Defense Secretary Daniel Z. Elks Landmark Lodge To Be Razed In Bennington

The Elks vote 189 to 27 to replace the Washington Avenue home. The Victorian house built in the 1870s or 1880s will be demolished and a one story cement block, fireproof structure with an attractive facade will rise on the existing foundation. John B.
